This album is a collection of Sol e cachaça LP, released in 1986 and Cor de dendê LP released in 1990
Between 1983 and 1991 we played with great Norwegian musicians in the jazz-clubs in Norway. During those eight years we worked together, we produced two albums: Sol e Cachaça (Sun & Cachaça) was recorded in Rio de Janeiro in 1986 and Cor de Dendê (Dendê Color) in Denmark in 1990
Nice fusion has always been an essential element of popular music, the fresh blood that renews and enriches the recent history go Brazilian music,we are very pleased with the results that we have achieved together.
We are proud to present these works once again to our public, now remastered in CD. We hope that time can offer the music that never ages, for it is the expression of the eternal present.
